  • Has your business been formed yet? If so, please state the date of formation and type of business entity (Inc, LLC, non-profit, etc)
  • What will you call your business? or What is your business name?
  • What will be the business phone number and address?
  • In what city or state will the business operate?
  • Who will be reading the business plan?? Investors, Employees, Bank?
  • What product or service does your company sell?
  • Who are your competitors? Can you provide competitor websites/businesses for reference?
  • Why are you different from your competitors?
  • Where do you find customers to buy your goods or services?
  • Are you looking for a loan or investor? How much capital (money) are you looking for from a loan or investor?
  • How will you spend the capital (money)you raised from the loan or investment?
  • About How much will you make in Years 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 after the loan or investment?
  • About How much will you spend in Years 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 after the loan or investment?
  • What is the name of the person who will be the CEO? Resume?
  • How many owners does the business have? What percentage of ownership does each owner own? What are their names? Resume?
  • How many employees will you have? What are their job titles? Resume?
  • Describe your business. Tell me anything else you think is important about your business?
